Structural silicone sealant

Brief introduction

Structural neutral silicone sealant, specially used for encapsulating of glass, stone(marble, granite)aluminum curtain, glass roof and metal structural project. with Excellent structural adhesion and anti-aging, after man-make aging accelerating test, all properties don’t have obvious changed. When applying, squeeze the sealant into applied site, with the help of appropriate humidity and temperature, it will cure into elastomer with strong adhesion. 

Properties

Neutral sealant, cured at room temperature, non-corrosiveness to many construction material, such as metal, coated glass, etc.

With excellent anti-aging property, at normal environment, service life can be as long as 50 years.

Resist extreme temperature, after cured stay stable at -30℃,there is no phenomenon ,such as brittle, hardening or cracking .When exposed at + 90 ℃ high temperature would not become soft, degradation, and always maintain good elasticity;

Excellent cohesiveness, curing with most building materials and forming strong seals and don't need to use the primer;

Has good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealant.

Service restrictions

It’s not suitable for those materials would ooze grease, plasticizer or solvent, such as oil immersing surface of wood

Advise that used in ventilated place due to silicone sealant have to be curing by absorbing the moisture in the air.

It’s not suitable to used in surface of frosting and moist.

It’s not suitable to used in constant soaking or moist environment.

Suggest that should not apply this product when temperature lowers than 10℃ or higher than 40℃.

Silicone sealant for most building materials series products, such as glass, anodizing aluminum, ceramic tile, granite, brick, wood, steel and most of the plastics has excellent cohesiveness. But due to new building materials appear constantly and new surface treatment technology; We can't guarantee our product is applicable to all, in some cases we have to do test to check the compatibility of sealant and construction materials.

Interface

Silicone sealant structural interface must be designed by the professional personnel according to JGJ102 "technical specification for glass curtain wall engineering;

Silicone structural adhesive interface must use general methods to apply;

Interface design must be able to make structural adhesive contact with air in order to cure, and cannot be moved during solidification.

Safeties

Complete cured product is innoxious. But keep out of children’s reach and avoid touching with eyes before solidifying. While curing, product will release alcohol material, suggest that work in ventilated place in case of any adverse effects caused by accumulated alcohol material. And due to work environment and condition is varying; we recommend that test before use.

Maintenance

Generally do not need to repair, if the sealant glue line breakage, replace the damaged parts, just use solvent to remove accumulated dirt, reoccupy structural adhesive.
